With their exams finally over, Siku and Nilak begin the journey back to their families. Nilak is no longer the same homesick boy who arrived in Canada: he feels happier, more confident, and tells Siku that crying, connecting with others, and making new friends has helped him grow. When Nilak reveals that he and his friends are even considering starting a business together, Siku becomes increasingly nervous. Nilak notices his reaction and wonders if Siku is simply afraid of losing him as a friend. But Siku finally admits the truth: he does not want Nilak only as a friend — he wants a relationship with him. Nilak is completely surprised. Between his emotions and his plans for a future business, love had never even crossed his mind, so he leaves Siku’s proposal unresolved. When they return home, both families celebrate their arrival and announce two major decisions: their businesses will merge, and Siku and Nilak will marry. Siku is delighted, while Nilak is overwhelmed by yet another unexpected change in his life. They eventually marry and begin discovering love, emotional comfort, intimacy, and life together as a couple. Little by little, Nilak stops crying and starts laughing, discovering how a meaningful union can open the door to a new way of living.
