For authors & writers
Put the characters from your books on screen
Your characters already have a voice on the page. List them and story owners can cast them in AI episodes — new readers meet them on screen, you accept each request, and you earn a fee every time.
Who it’s for
- Novelists and web-fiction authors
- Comic and webtoon writers
- Screenwriters with original characters
How casting works
- 01
Add your character
Create the character’s look with AI from your descriptions, or upload existing artwork. Confirm you hold the rights to license the character.
- 02
Set your fee
Choose a price per episode in USD, or let people use the character for free to get it seen. You can pause the listing or change the price at any time.
- 03
Get asked or apply
Story owners find your character and ask to use it in one episode. They make the video themselves with AI. You can also apply to open casting calls where they describe the role they need.
- 04
Accept and get paid
You only accept. There is nothing to deliver. The character is added to their episode automatically, and you earn your fee once it is in.
How you earn
A fee for every episode
Each use covers one episode. You keep 90% of your character fee; the platform fee is 10%. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe in supported countries.
Paid social posts, if you want
Offer to publish the finished episode on a connected social account for an extra fee. Story owners can add posts to a hire or choose a character + posting bundle.
Casting calls
Story owners post casting calls for specific roles. Apply with your character; applications are private and commit no payment or rights until a hire is confirmed.
You stay in control
You decide who uses it
Every request waits for you to accept or decline. The story owner pays when they send it and gets a full refund if you decline or do not answer within 7 days. Free requests start when you accept.
A clear, narrow scope
Each use covers one episode. Voice rights, reuse in the story owner’s library and social posting are excluded unless you explicitly include them.
Stop whenever you like
Pause a listing to stop new hires. Hires already in progress are not affected, and nothing is deleted.
Questions
I only have written descriptions. Can I still list a character?
Yes. Create the character’s look with AI from your description, refine it, and list it once you are happy with it.
Does this adapt my book?
No. Each use lets a story owner use your character in one episode of their own story. Adapting your book is a separate agreement outside this.
How much does it cost to list a character?
Listing is free. When a paid hire is completed, the platform keeps a 10% fee and you receive the rest through Stripe.
Do I need payouts set up before I list?
No. You can list right away. You set up payouts before accepting your first paid hire. Free hires do not need payouts.
What does a story owner get when they use my character?
Permission to use the character in one episode of their story, which they make themselves with AI. Voice rights, reusable-library rights and social posting are only included if your offer includes them.
Do I have to make any video?
No. The story owner makes the episode with AI; you only accept the request. If you also want to make clips for other people’s scripts, offer “Get clips made” on your profile. It is a separate service, priced per minute.
