Ep.1 Inuit (FR-BL)

Nilak’s parents tell him that, now that he is eighteen, he must leave home and study in Canada to prepare for the international expansion of the family business. Terrified by the idea of leaving his snow, his motorcycles and the life he knows, Nilak runs crying to his grandmother. She reminds him that his father has made the decision, and Nilak spends the next three days crying and refusing to eat. Meanwhile, Siku receives similar news from his own family. His parents want to expand their fish cannery business, and Siku is excited by the opportunity to study and discover the world. But there is one condition: he cannot go alone. He must travel with the son of his father’s friend. Siku initially refuses, complaining about how sensitive and tearful Nilak is, but when his father makes it clear that traveling together is the only option, Siku finally accepts.
